Location and surroundings:
The house is located in Spain, on the Costa Dorada, 300 km after the French border at L'Amettla de Mar. In the development Las Tres Calas, Calle del Tofino n ° 533. Quiet location with sea view. House with high standard of furnishing for max. 7 - 8 people.
The holiday resort of Las Tres Calas is part of the picturesque fishing village of L 'Ametlla de Mar. There are no hotels or blocks of flats in this holiday development.
In the bays of Las Tres Calas there are fine sandy beaches and a pebble beach. The beaches are very flat and ideal for swimming.
In the area you will find plantations of olive, peach, apricot and almond trees, a flower splendor in February to March - an ideal area for hikers and mountain bikers in springtime and autumn.
L 'Ametlla de Mar has a fairly large fishing fleet. Every evening at the harbor, the caught fish are auctioned, this is an interesting spectacle for everyone.
In the south about 20 km from Las Tres Calas is the Ebro Delta. A very fertile area with vegetable plantations and huge rice fields. In the park there are flamingos and many other waterfowl, in addition, it has huge sandy beaches that invite you to swim or surf. At the confluence of the Rio Ebre: is one of the world's best areas for fishing for carp, sea trout, black bass, pike perch, barbel, catfish and giant eels. A trip to this beautiful area is highly recommended.
What is the best way to get to Las Tres Calas?
By car:
Continuous motorway Berne (Switzerland) - L'Ametlla de Mar. Distance from Bern approx. 1100 km. This route can be reached in approx. 9 - 11 h travel time, depending on the season. Motorway exit: L'Ametlla de Mar (Salida 39), then signposted Hospitalet de l'Infant. The urbanization "Las Tres Calas" is about 2.5 km from the motorway exit.
Highway France and Spain
If you own a credit card (EUROCARD, VISA, etc.), you can use it to pay all due tolls in France. This type of payment is quick and easy.
Since 2022 there will be no motorway tolls in Spain!
By plane:
There is a very convenient connection from Geneva to Barcelona about 150 Km to Las Tres Calas. Cars can be rented at the airport.
